Description
This 1882 US Morgan silver dollar was struck at the Philadelphia Mint, indicated by the absence of a mint mark. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The obverse features the Morgan head design with the inscription LIBERTY and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. The reverse features the heraldic eagle design with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR, along with the motto In God we trust in Gothic script. The coin has a reeded edge.
