Description
A Coleman portable battery-operated fluorescent lantern, model number 5390-762. The unit features a molded plastic body in grey and black with an integral carrying handle. The lighting component consists of twin internal fluorescent tubes housed behind a clear, ribbed plastic lens. One tube shows the partial marking 11-F6T5/D. The lens bears a red oval sticker with white text reading SUPERIOR Light Output. A three-position sliding power switch is located on the side with settings marked I, O, and II for single-tube, off, and dual-tube operation. The Coleman name and lantern logo are present on the side panel. The black plastic base is embossed with the Coleman script logo and lantern icon, the model number 5390-762, and the word CHINA. Embossed instructions on the base read TO OPEN, INSERT FLAT OBJECT AND TWIST TO RELEASE. A small circular white sticker on the base reads Q.C. 15 PASSED. This lantern is designed to be powered by eight D-cell batteries.
