Description
This is a Lamplight Farms clear glass kerosene oil lamp, specifically a chamber-style lamp designed with a finger-loop handle. The piece consists of a clear glass chimney with a tapered neck and bulbous body, a metal burner mechanism with a flat woven cotton wick, and a pressed glass reservoir or fount. The lower portion of the glass reservoir features a decorative radial lobed or fluted pattern. An applied glass finger handle is attached to the side for carrying. A circular silver-toned foil label is present on the side of the glass fount. The label is inscribed with the text LAMPLIGHT FARMS and features a central illustration of a farm scene with a barn and a horse-drawn wagon.
