Description
This collection consists of several 1989 US Mint uncirculated coin sets in their original government packaging (OGP). The lot features Philadelphia Mint packs with blue borders and Denver Mint packs with red borders. Each pack contains five coins: a Kennedy half dollar, a Washington quarter, a Roosevelt dime, a Jefferson nickel, and a Lincoln cent, along with a copper-alloy mint identification token. The half dollar, quarter, and dime feature a copper-nickel clad composition over a solid copper core. The nickel is composed of cupro-nickel, and the cent is copper-plated zinc. All specimens are business-strike coins produced for the annual mint set program. The lot is accompanied by an original official Treasury Department mailing envelope and a 1989 reorder form from the US Mint.
