Description
One (1) custom-painted motorcycle fuel tank designed for Harley-Davidson Sportster models. This is an original equipment manufacturer style steel tank, consistent with the 4.5-gallon capacity tanks used on fuel-injected Sportster variants. The underside of the tank features a large rectangular mounting plate opening, identifying it as a model for electronic fuel injection (EFI) systems designed to house an internal fuel pump assembly. The top of the tank is equipped with two circular ports: the right port is threaded for a screw-in gas cap, and the left port is designed for a fuel gauge or decorative cap. The tank features a custom metallic candy orange base coat with airbrushed ghost flames in a deeper red hue spanning the sides. A subtle airbrushed skull graphic is visible on the front left section. Both sides of the tank bear the Harley-Davidson Bar and Shield logo with the transcribed text MOTOR, HARLEY-DAVIDSON, and CYCLES. The tank includes integrated front and rear mounting tabs for frame attachment.
Compatibility: Based on the fuel pump mounting configuration and mounting tabs, this tank is compatible with Harley-Davidson Sportster (XL) models from approximately 2007 to present that utilize the 4.5-gallon tank style.
