Description
This is a 1921 United States Morgan silver dollar struck at the San Francisco Mint. The obverse features the Morgan design by George T. Morgan, dated 1921, with the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and thirteen stars. The reverse bears the eagle design with inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ONE DOLLAR, and the motto In God we trust in Gothic script. An S mint mark is located on the reverse below the wreath and above the DO in DOLLAR. This coin was produced during the final year of the Morgan dollar series. It is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper.
