This United States Series 1957 B one-dollar Silver Certificate features the small-size format design. The obverse displays a central portrait of George Washington within an oval frame. To the right of the portrait is a blue Treasury seal, and matching blue serial numbers X 95293444 A appear in the upper left and lower right quadrants. The note bears the facsimile signatures of Kathryn O’Hay Granahan, Treasurer of the United States, and C. Douglas Dillon, Secretary of the Treasury. The designation SILVER CERTIFICATE is printed across the top, with the obligation statement regarding the deposit of silver in the Treasury. The reverse design features the two circles of the Great Seal of the United States flanking the word ONE, with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST above. This note corresponds to Friedberg catalog number 1621.
