Description
This is an Eastman Kodak Vest Pocket Model B Autographic folding camera designed for No. 127 roll film. The camera features a metal body finished with a black leatherette covering that displays a distinctive embossed scalloped or wavy pattern. The front panel opens to deploy a collapsible bellows system. The lens faceplate is inscribed VEST POCKET KODAK MODEL B, MADE IN U.S.A. BY EASTMAN KODAK CO. ROCHESTER N.Y., and bears the serial number 27323 alongside the EK circular logo. It is equipped with a rotary-style shutter featuring settings for Instant (I), Bulb (B), and Time (T). A manual sliding aperture lever is located at the base of the lens plate with four numbered stops. A rotating waist-level brilliant viewfinder is mounted to the side of the lens assembly. The rear of the camera includes a T-shaped autographic door for recording data on film and a circular red celluloid window for tracking frame numbers. An embossed mark on the back reads USE FILM NO. 127.
