Description
This lot features 11 Winchester brand 20-gauge shotgun shells contained within two partial vintage cardboard boxes. One box is Winchester Super-Target Target Load, factory specified for 2 3/4-inch shells with a 2 1/2 dram equivalent and 7/8 ounce of number 8 shot. The second box is Winchester Super Speed Game Loads, rated at 1275 feet per second and intended for 2 3/4-inch shells with number 8 shot. The ammunition comprises yellow plastic hulls with low-brass heads and six-point star crimps. Prominent markings transcribed from the hulls include the Winchester W logo, 20 GA. ONLY, and 2 3/4 IN / 70mm, with several shells hand-marked with a black ink 8. The headstamps are marked WINCHESTER 20 GA. The cardboard packaging exhibits moderate shelf wear including fraying at the corners, creasing, and light staining.
