Description
A primitive rustic wind bell constructed of cast and wrought iron. The bell features a flared body with an integral suspension loop at the crown. A solid metal ball clapper is attached to the interior by a simple link chain. This chain extends through the bottom of the bell to hold a flat, pointed, diamond-shaped metal pendant that serves as a wind-catcher. The piece is finished with a heavy, natural oxidation and deep brown rust patina across all surfaces. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on the exterior or interior.
Bell body height: approximately 3.5 inches.
