Description
A ceramic studio pottery vase of organic form, featuring a bulbous upper body tapering to a narrow waist and flaring slightly to a wide, flat base. The vase is crafted from glazed stoneware or earthenware, finished in a smooth, glossy cream-white glaze on the exterior and a matching solid cream glaze on the interior. It features hand-painted abstract decoration consisting of bold cobalt blue brushstrokes, bands, and circular sweeps, showcasing visible painterly textures and brush marks. The underside of the flat base is covered with a circular gray fibrous protective felt pad, obscuring any potential maker’s marks or signatures.
