Description
A United States 2000 American Silver Eagle one dollar bullion coin struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The coin features the Walking Liberty obverse and the John Mercanti heraldic eagle reverse. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2000 on the obverse. The reverse includes UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR. The designer’s initials JM are located below the eagle’s right wing. The coin possesses a reeded edge and is contained within a clear plastic protective capsule with a black foam gasket.
