Description
This 2001 US American Silver Eagle is a one-ounce fine silver bullion coin with a face value of one dollar. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design with the transcriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2001. The reverse features the heraldic eagle design with the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR; the eagle holds a ribbon in its beak inscribed E PLURIBUS UNUM. No mint mark is visible on the reverse, identifying it as the bullion strike. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule with a black foam gasket.
