Description
A vintage 13-piece S.A.E. 3/8-inch drive socket wrench set housed in its original gray blow-molded plastic storage case. The set consists of a 3/8-inch drive ratchet wrench with a knurled handle, an extension bar, a universal joint, a drive adapter/bit holder, a hex screwdriver bit insert, and eight sockets. The socket sizes are 3/4 inch, 11/16 inch, 5/8 inch, 9/16 inch, 1/2 inch, 7/16 inch, 3/8 inch, and 5/16 inch. Five of the sockets (3/4, 11/16, 9/16, 7/16, and 3/8) feature stamped markings indicating Chrome-Vanadium steel (CR-V) construction and Taiwanese origin. The 1/2-inch socket is a vintage replacement component manufactured by Globemaster, stamped with model number 73113. The plastic storage case features molded text on the lid reading 13 PIECE S.A.E. 3/8-INCH DRIVE SOCKET WRENCH SET.
