Description
An American primitive style rustic wooden wall-hanging cabinet or utility box, constructed from softwood with a warm natural finish. The tall, narrow piece features a shaped top pediment with a single pre-drilled mounting hole for wall installation, a small projecting shelf at the base, and a front door hinged at the top with two decorative metal butterfly hinges. A simple metal hook latch on the right side secures the door, which opens upward to reveal a single, undivided interior compartment. The back panel of the box features vertical beadboard-style grooving. There are no visible maker’s marks, stamps, or inscriptions.
