Description
A vintage lead crystal bell produced by Hofbauer as part of The Byrdes Collection. The piece features a clear crystal body with a figural cardinal handle crafted from amethyst-colored glass. The exterior of the bell is decorated with geometric diamond-cut patterns around the center and vertical fluting toward the base. A clear glass bead clapper is suspended from the interior by a metal chain. The original gold foil label is affixed to the side, featuring the Hofbauer logo and identifying the material as over 24 percent lead crystal (Echt Bleikristall), made in West Germany.
