Description
A pair of United States $1 Silver Certificates printed on cotton and linen fiber paper. The first note is a Series 1957 A issue with serial number N 00916937 A, featuring the signatures of Treasurer Elizabeth Rudel Smith and Secretary of the Treasury C. Douglas Dillon. The second note is a Series 1957 B issue with serial number R 24195440 A, featuring the signatures of Treasurer Kathryn O’Hay Granahan and Secretary of the Treasury C. Douglas Dillon. Both specimens feature blue Treasury seals, blue serial numbers, and a centered intaglio portrait of George Washington. The reverse designs include the Great Seal of the United States and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST.
