A collection of four individual issues of Die Abendschule: Ein illustriertes Familienblatt, an illustrated German-language family newspaper published in St. Louis, Missouri, by the Louis Lange Publishing Co. The lot includes Jahrgang 50, Nummer 4 (August 27, 1903); Jahrgang 51, Nummer 5 (September 1, 1904); Jahrgang 67, Heft 23 (June 2, 1921); and Jahrgang 68, Heft 12 (December 29, 1921). The 1903 issue features a front-page portrait of Joseph W. Folk, Circuit Attorney of St. Louis. The 1921 issues include regional features such as Eine Osterfeier im Schwabenlande. The text is printed in traditional German Fraktur script. Each issue retains its original masthead with ornate decorative engravings. Two issues are housed in clear plastic protective sleeves.
