Description
An American earthenware oval serving platter finished in a vibrant, solid Paprika. The form features the signature molded concentric rings around the rim and a smaller set of rings at the center of the well. The underside displays an underglaze backstamp with the word fiesta in a lowercase script font. To the upper right of the word is a registration symbol consisting of the letter r in a circle. Below the word fiesta are the characters USA and further below are the letters HLC. This mark confirms the platter as a product of the contemporary line produced by the Homer Laughlin China Company.
