Description
A contemporary Chinese-made round embossed tin advertising sign for Pennzoil motor oil. The sign is designed with a yellow field and black border, featuring a central red Liberty Bell logo with the brand name PENNZOIL in bold black block lettering. Arched across the top in black script is the phrase Supreme Pennsylvania Quality, and arched across the bottom in block text is SAFE LUBRICATION. The lettering and the central bell logo are embossed, providing a raised three-dimensional effect. The sign includes a single pre-drilled mounting hole on the left and a metal triangular hanging tab attached to the reverse. The front lower and right edges are printed with a copyright notice reading 2019 Pennzoil-Quaker State Company. Below the bell are the printed marks REG. U.S. and PAT. OFF. The reverse features a dark brown finish with a white adhesive barcode label reading C11908622.
