Description
This sterling silver commemorative coin is presented in an original black textured card bearing the printed legend THE FRANKLIN MINT in a white serif typeface. The reverse design features a central rectangular inset depicting a portion of a silver bar with the stamped date 1715 and characters V M and AA. The denomination TWENTY DOLLARS is struck in an arched serif typeface, surrounded by decorative scrollwork and a scallop shell at the 12 o’clock position. A circular hallmark depicting a winged monogram is struck at the 6 o’clock position on the reverse. The coin exhibits a proof finish with mirrored fields and frosted devices.
