Description
A contemporary three-dimensional mixed media assemblage shadow box designed for wall display. The piece features a double-layered frame construction, consisting of a flat outer white-painted board with factory-distressed edges and an inner ornate molded resin frame with filigree and scrollwork details, also finished in distressed white. The central composition is encased in a layer of clear resin with a visible yellowed tint. Centered at the bottom is a small, textured clear glass vessel containing an artificial green succulent plant. The arrangement is embellished with multiple clear glass cabochons of varying sizes representing bubbles and a copper-tone metal skeleton key suspended from a short chain in the upper left quadrant. The background is a solid yellowish-tan color. The top edge is fitted with two metal eye-hooks supporting a silver-tone link chain for hanging. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the front or back of the item.
