Description
A group of vintage 12-fluid ounce metal soda cans from Royal Crown Cola featuring a Major League Baseball collector series. Each can is decorated with a blue field featuring a white circular logo containing a red printed RC and the words ROYAL CROWN COLA. The slogan Me and my RC is printed in white and blue script below the logo, above the text 12 FLUID OUNCES. The reverse of the cans displays a circular black-and-white portrait of a professional baseball player, with one can clearly identified by the printed name HAL McRAE. Below the portrait is a graphic of a baseball containing printed text and statistics including references to the 1976 and 1977 seasons. The silver-tone metal lids are embossed with the instructions PLEASE DON’T LITTER and DISPOSE OF PROPERLY around a triangular opening where the pull-tab has been removed. The base of each can is plain recessed silver-tone metal. The cans are housed in a simple cardboard tray.
Across the width, the cardboard tray measures approximately 12 inches.
