Description
A large-scale hollow-cast ceramic figurine depicting an adult horned owl and a smaller owlet perched on a naturalistic branch-form base. The piece features a heavily textured surface modeled to simulate feathers and wood grain, finished with a metallic bronze-toned glaze. The underside of the base contains a circular aperture. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the exterior or the base.
Height: 18 inches as measured at the highest point of the head.
