Sold for: $20
Description
A black baseball jersey featuring the name HAYS and player number 21 in orange tackle twill. The jersey is signed on the orange fabric of the numeral 1 in black ink. The signature is literally transcribed as A. Hays and is consistent with that of Baltimore Orioles outfielder Austin Hays. The item includes authentication from James Spence Authentication (JSA) through the Witnessed Protection Program. An oval adhesive tamper-evident label is applied to the numeral 1, which bears the printed alphanumeric certification number WIT045110 and includes a stylized JSA logo. Accompanying the jersey is a JSA Witnessed Protection Program certificate card, which repeats the certification number WIT045110. The card features several printed photographic images of items being signed, the JSA logo, and contact information for offices in Parsippany, NJ and Fort Lauderdale, FL, including the website SpenceLOA.com. The jersey is constructed with orange block letters for the name and large orange numerals, all secured with zigzag stitching around the perimeters.
