Description
A 1989 US American Silver Eagle bullion coin composed of one ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design with Lady Liberty enveloped in the US flag, striding toward a rising sun. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 1989. The reverse displays the heraldic eagle design with a shield, holding an olive branch and arrows, beneath thirteen stars. The reverse is inscribed UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM on a ribbon, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR. The coin features a reeded edge and lacks a mint mark, signifying it was struck at the Philadelphia Mint.
