2016 US American Silver Eagle One Dollar Coin
Description
A US one-dollar silver bullion coin, known as the American Silver Eagle. The obverse features the year 2016 and the Walking Liberty design. It bears the impressed inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle behind a shield, clutching an olive branch and arrows, beneath thirteen stars arranged in a triangular pattern. The reverse inscriptions read UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR, and E PLURIBUS UNUM on a ribbon. A small monogram JM is visible on the reverse below the eagle’s tail feathers. The coin has a reeded edge and is composed of .999 fine silver.
