Description

A collection of five United States coins, all dated 1964, presented in a clear two-piece plastic holder. The set contains a Kennedy half dollar, a Washington quarter, and a Roosevelt dime, each composed of 90% silver. Also included are a Jefferson nickel and a Lincoln Memorial cent. The silver coins lack mint marks on their reverse sides, indicating production at the Philadelphia Mint. The half dollar features the obverse inscription LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 1964; the reverse displays the presidential seal with the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and HALF DOLLAR. The quarter and dime feature their respective presidential portraits and denominations. The nickel reverse depicts Monticello, and the cent reverse shows the Lincoln Memorial. The holder is composed of two clear rectangular sections secured together, with an embossed vertical mark on the left edge of the obverse face reading WHITMAN in capital block letters.
