Three American Hemingray Aqua Glass Insulators
Description
A trio of American pressed aqua glass pin-type electrical insulators. Each example features molded threaded interiors and a textured base ring composed of drip points designed for moisture runoff. One insulator features a rounded crown and single wire groove, marked in raised relief on the skirt MADE IN U.S.A. A second insulator exhibits a conical dome with an embossed marking reading HEMINGRAY on the skirt. The third insulator is formed with a double-petticoat tier below the crown and is embossed HEMINGRAY on the upper skirt. The glass presents internal seed bubbles typical of utilitarian mold-blown and pressed production.
Height of largest example: 4 inches.
