Description

A trio of vintage porcelain table lamps featuring figural bases decorated in an 18th-century Rococo style. The collection includes a matching pair and a single lamp, all composed of polychrome glazed porcelain with hand-painted details and gold-tone gilt accents. The pair depicts a standing man and woman in green and pink attire with floral motifs on the woman’s skirt. The single lamp features a seated couple, with the man dressed in a yellow jacket and lavender breeches and the woman in a pink bodice with a blue skirt. The electrical assembly for each includes a brass-tone socket with a turn-knob switch and integrated plastic-coated cords in brown and cream colors. The underside of each base features a printed red circular stamp reading MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN. The bases of the matching pair also show traces of green felt residue.
