Description
1925 US silver Peace dollar minted at the Philadelphia Mint. This specimen features the Peace Dollar obverse and Peace Dollar reverse designs by Anthony de Francisci. The obverse includes the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRVST, and the date 1925, along with the designer’s AF monogram. The reverse bears the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, ONE DOLLAR, and PEACE. This series was struck to commemorate the restoration of peace following World War I.
