Description
This is a large decorative fantasy dagger measuring approximately 19.5 inches in total length. The item features a long, tapered, double-edged blade. One face of the blade is decorated with a black printed or etched rectangular panel containing a geometric knotwork pattern. The hilt assembly is constructed of cast white metal with an antiqued finish. The crossguard features a prominent central motif of a stylized face or mask, flanked by upward-swept arms decorated with incised geometric triangles. The grip is made of a brown molded material featuring a raised, overlapping scale pattern. The hilt is completed with a bulbous cast metal pommel decorated with a stylized foliate design. This design corresponds to the Lattice Dagger prop replica from the television series Xena Warrior Princess. No maker marks, manufacturer logos, or hallmarks are visible on the blade, crossguard, or pommel.
