Description
This is a vintage magazine rack or book carrier designed in a Colonial Revival or Country style. The piece is constructed from stained wood, likely a softwood such as pine, showing prominent natural knots. It features a single open storage compartment enclosed by horizontal rails and vertical turned spindles on the front and back. The two solid side panels have a scalloped silhouette and are finished with decorative, oversized round-headed metal tacks. The central upright section includes an arched carrying handle with a triangular cutout. No manufacturer marks, labels, or stamps were identified. A blue adhesive lot sticker bearing the number 202 is affixed to the upper left of the handle.
