Description
This is a large fixed-blade Bowie knife manufactured by Chipaway Cutlery. The surgical steel blade features a deep clip point profile and a prominent choil at the base of the cutting edge. The obverse tang is stamped with the Chipaway Cutlery circular logo depicting a Native American profile in a feathered headdress. The reverse tang is stamped vertically with Pakistan and horizontally with Surgical Steel. The handle is constructed of laminated wood scales, likely pakkawood, featuring a dark wood oval inlay and secured by two brass pins. The knife is fitted with an ornate cast metal guard and pommel with a brass-colored finish. The guard is decorated with scrollwork, and the pommel features a relief scene depicting a hunter and a hound, a design frequently associated with commemorative collector knives.
