Description
Attributed to the Indiana Glass Company, this five-piece lot of green pressed glass is decorated in the Sandwich pattern. The grouping consists of four footed mugs and one cylindrical jar. The design features an intricate floral and scroll motif set against a stippled, or pebbled, background, a hallmark of the Sandwich pattern. The glassware is rendered in a transparent light green color, often referred to as Chantilly Green. The items are manufactured using the pressed glass technique, resulting in visible mold seams. The underside of each base is decorated with a molded eight-petaled starburst or flower motif. The footed mugs include a single handle and a pedestal base with a faceted edge, while the cylindrical jar, identified as the base of a biscuit or canister jar, features a matching paneled base design.

Cylindrical jar height: 4 1/2 inches.
