Description
This 2001 United States American Silver Eagle one-dollar bullion coin is struck in one ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design with inscriptions for LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2001. The reverse features the heraldic eagle design with inscriptions for UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR, and E PLURIBUS UNUM. No mint mark is present on the reverse, as is standard for bullion strikes of this year. The coin is housed in a clear circular plastic airtight capsule with a black foam gasket.
