Description
This 2015-W US American Eagle one-dollar silver proof coin was struck at the West Point Mint and bears the W mint mark on the reverse. The coin is composed of one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 2015. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle with a shield, holding an olive branch and arrows, surmounted by thirteen stars, with legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and 1 OZ. FINE SILVER~ONE DOLLAR. The coin exhibits a proof finish characterized by mirror-like fields and frosted relief elements. It is housed in its original clear plastic capsule and presented in a blue velvet-lined United States Mint display box with the official Certificate of Authenticity.
