Description
This miniature turkey on nest dish was produced by the Viking Glass Company. The piece is crafted from Amberina glass, displaying a vibrant color transition from a yellow-amber base to a deep ruby red top. The mold-pressed construction features a turkey lid with a fanned tail and textured plumage resting on a base with a basketweave pattern. The underside of the base contains an embossed maker mark consisting of a stylized letter V within a circle. This size of dish was traditionally utilized as a salt cellar or individual nut dish.
