Description
A pair of miniature lidded boxes produced by PWF (Paul’s Waxed Flowers/Paul’s Gifts). Each box is modeled as a hen seated atop an oval, woven-style nest. The pieces are constructed from glazed ceramic and feature a mottled brown and tan glaze. The underside of each base retains its original circular gold foil label, displaying a central W flanked by P and F with Japan printed at the bottom.
Base length: 1.625 inches.
