Description
An iridescent pressed glass bowl featuring the Whirling Star pattern. The vessel is crafted from clear glass treated with a multi-colored pearlescent luster, a style commonly known to collectors as white carnival glass. The design consists of large whirling star or pinwheel motifs alternating with panels containing hobstars and intricate geometric miter cuts. The bowl is finished with a deep scalloped rim featuring a saw-tooth edge. The pattern continues across the interior and onto the base. No maker marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the object. The underside displays a fully molded pattern with no pontil mark, indicating a pressed-glass manufacturing process.
Across the rim, the diameter measures approximately 7 5/8 inches.
