September ONE just for FUN!!
Lot 64:
Description
A necklace featuring a flared-arm cross pendant crafted from silver-toned metal. The pendant design includes triple-notched ends on each arm and a central oval turquoise cabochon with a prominent brown matrix. The stone is secured in a serrated bezel and framed by a twisted rope-style wire border. The pendant is attached to a fine cable link chain that closes with a spring ring clasp. On the reverse of the horizontal arm and near the bail, there are faint impressed marks. These marks are heavily worn and are not legible as a name, symbol, or hallmark. The oxidation and tarnish patterns are consistent with aged silver; however, as the metal content is not clearly hallmarked, testing for sterling silver is recommended.
