Description
A Steelman ChassisEAR electronic diagnostic kit, model 06600, designed for locating mechanical noises in automotive applications. The set includes a central 6-channel control module, model 06610, featuring a color-coded selector dial, a power and volume thumbwheel, and a red indicator light. The kit is equipped with one pair of over-ear headphones with red padded earcups and a coiled black cord ending in a 3.5mm plug. Included is an assortment of sensor leads with microphone sensors housed in metal alligator-style clamps. These leads are color-coded with bands corresponding to the selector dial: 1 (red), 2 (green), 3 (white), 4 (pink), 5 (blue), and 6 (yellow). The kit also contains a set of white plastic cable ties. All components are housed in a black zippered soft storage bag and a rugged black plastic hard-shell carrying case with a foam-lined interior. An adhesive label on the exterior of the case reads STEELMAN ChassisEAR ELECTRONIC SQUEAK and RATTLE FINDER 06600. The face of the control module is printed with STEELMAN 6 CHANNEL CONTROL MODULE and 06610. The underside of the module has an embossed OPEN with a directional arrow on the battery door and a small silver adhesive sticker bearing a black printed CE mark. The soft storage bag is printed with white text reading STEELMAN ChassisEAR.
