Description
This electromechanical defrost timer control board is built on a green printed circuit board secured to a gold-tone metal mounting bracket. The central feature is an electromechanical 24-hour timer dial with captive trippers, used for setting refrigeration defrost cycles. The board contains two black relays, several capacitors, resistors, and two status indicator LEDs, one green and one red. A seven-position green screw terminal block is located at the base of the board.
The device features multiple readable marks. A green printed mark at the top left of the circuit board reads GRÄSSLIN by Intermatic. The top right of the board is printed with the text DTAV40 SERIES. The central timer dial is also printed with the name GRÄSSLIN at the bottom. The two black relays are marked with the manufacturer name HASCO and the part number HAT901CSDC24. The terminal block is labeled with the characters F, 3, 1, 2, 4, N, and X. A white adhesive label on the right side of the board reads 270, and a numeric string 03 40 0311 1 is printed along the right edge. A white adhesive label on the metal mounting bracket reads 100,000 Endurance Cycles Certified for Std. 1995 UL, cUL Approval.
The green circuit board measures 4.25 inches in length and 3 inches in width.
The overall unit, including the mounting bracket, has a depth of 3.5 inches.
