Description
An American die-cast metal 1/16 scale replica of a 1934 John Deere Model A tractor. The tractor is finished in signature green paint with yellow accents, featuring a narrow-front design and real rubber tires. Notable mechanical features include swivel steering and a movable flywheel. The body includes a black vertical exhaust pipe, a black steering wheel on an exposed green column, and a green seat. The engine housing is printed on both sides with the John Deere name and logo in yellow. The tractor is accompanied by its original cardboard window display box. The packaging bears a green and white diagonal striped design and features the Ertl logo. Printed information on the box indicates the item was manufactured in the U.S.A. under license of Deere & Company by The Ertl Company, Dyersville, Iowa, a subsidiary of Walter Kidde & Company, Inc. A black barcode is printed on the bottom with the numbers 0 36881 00539 9. The part number is identified as 539-10D0 and #539DO on different panels. A yellow price sticker reading $9.89 is adhered to the front and bottom surfaces.
