Lot 91:
Harmony Kingdom Picturesque Wimberley Tales The Builder Relief Sculpture
Description
This cast resin wall plaque, finished in a cream tone with dark washes to emphasize detail, is titled The Builder. The relief sculpture depicts three figures in a folkloric style participating in construction work. One figure in the foreground operates a saw on a wooden frame, while a second figure carries a stack of timber over their shoulder. A third figure is positioned in the background near a masonry structure resembling a well or archway. The side edge of the plaque features a series of six circular stamped marks: a stylized letter E, a letter W, a leaf or spade-like device, a letter G, a copyright symbol, and a letter R. The reverse of the plaque is fitted with a black backing and an adhesive label printed with the Harmony Kingdom Picturesque logo. The label also reads WIMBERLEY TALES, The Builder, Premiere Edition, and Hand Crafted in China.
