Description
This Lionel O scale model railroad accessory is an Automatic Gateman, model number 6-2145. The unit features a green-painted metal base with a plastic shed structure designed with white siding and a brown gabled roof and door. A molded blue plastic gateman figure is mounted to an internal solenoid mechanism, designed to emerge from the shed carrying a translucent red plastic lantern. The accessory includes a white plastic railroad crossing crossbuck sign with black lettering. Markings include a red and gold-tone Lionelville sign above the shed door and the part number PT NO 145-12 incised on the inner roof assembly. The original pictorial retail box is included, which displays the model number, O scale designation, and the manufacturer address in Mt. Clemens, Michigan 48043.
