Description
SilverTowne Saint-Gaudens design one troy ounce silver bullion round. This private mint issue is struck in .999 fine silver. The obverse depicts a figure of Liberty based on the Augustus Saint-Gaudens double eagle design, holding a torch and olive branch before a sunburst, encircled by a border of stars. The reverse features a profile view of an eagle with spread wings and an olive branch, with inscriptions reading ONE OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER. The SilverTowne manufacturer logo, incorporating a script font and a pickaxe symbol, is located in the lower right field of the reverse. The round is struck with a proof-like finish featuring frosted relief elements against mirrored fields.
