Description
This 1936 US silver half dollar features the Walking Liberty obverse and eagle reverse. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, the coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper. The obverse is inscribed with the date 1936 and the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse displays the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and HALF DOLLAR. The coin features a reeded edge and lacks a mint mark on the reverse.
