Description

This is a three-blade folding pocket knife in the Stockman pattern, manufactured by W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co. of Bradford, Pennsylvania. The knife features a primary clip point blade, a sheepsfoot blade, and a spey blade, all constructed from carbon steel as indicated by the CS suffix on the model number and the Carbon Steel designation on the accompanying factory box. The handle is finished with smooth yellow synthetic scales secured with three brass pins, featuring polished nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. An oval Case shield is inlaid into the handle scale. The main blade tang is stamped with CASE XX and five dots (two dots to the left of CASE and three dots to the right of XX), identifying the year of manufacture as 2005. The reverse of the spey blade tang is stamped USA 3318 CS. This lot includes the original factory box with a matching end label reading No 00035 Yellow Synthetic Smooth Medium Stockman (3318 CS). Also included are the original Case product quality information leaflet and a Case Collector’s Club registration card.
