Description
A 1936 United States Winged Liberty Head silver dime, commonly referred to as the Mercury dime. This specimen was struck at the Philadelphia Mint, indicated by the absence of a mint mark. The obverse features the Winged Liberty Head design with the designer monogram W for Adolph A. Weinman. The reverse displays the fasces and olive branch design. The coin is composed of 90 percent silver and 10 percent copper with a reeded edge.
